Ashburton Cares
*If you are in need of support, please contact your student's guidance counselor. The guidance counselors work with us to help direct support to students while respecting the privacy of the family.
Ashburton Cares work directly with Ashburton Elementary School to provide direct support to families when they need it most. The Cares committee hosts various donation drives throughout the year, supports families in crisis, and works to remove financial barriers to student participation in extra curricular activities.

Ashburton Cares is Seeking Donations for the Stuff the Backpack Drive! The committee has 20 donated backpacks, and has worked in consultation with the Ashburton Counselor team to identify items most needed by families in our community.
Details:
- Use the signup form to indicate any items you are donating.
- Donations are being accepted from 8/17 through 8/24.
- Donations can be dropped off at 10102 Flemming Ave. Bethesda MD 20814 or with the Ashburton front front desk between the hours of 9-3. Please place in a bag or box labeled Stuff the Backpack. A huge thank you to Mickey & Rick Seeger for hosting our donations HQ!
- The backpacks will be distributed directly to students by Ashburton Counselors to ensure privacy of our families.
