Ashburton Elementary School Field

Join the PTA and the Ashburton Community for an outdoor movie night on the field at Ashburton Elementary School! Entry and popcorn are free for all attendees.

We need your help! If you'd like to volunteer to help us make Movie Night a success, sign up for a shift here.

The votes are in, and the winning movie is Minecraft Movie!

Note: this is not a drop off event. Parents must remain with their students throughout.

Where will the movie be shown?

The movie will be shown on a giant screen on the Ashburton Elementary Athletic Field. Access the field using the outdoor path to the right of the gym, or through the back entrance to the playground behind the school.

IMPORTANT: The field will be extremely dark when the movie ends. PLEASE bring flashlights and make a plan with your children for a meet up spot if needed.

How do we get admission to Movie Night?

Just show up! No registration necessary! We encourage you to stop by the PTA table to sign up for membership (if you haven't already) and grab some complimentary spirit items!

Is there food?

The Ashburton PTA is sponsoring free popcorn for all attendees. We encourage you to bring your own picnic dinner and non-alcoholic beverages. For everyone's safety, please do not bring glass. Local Boy and Girl Scouts troops will have snacks for sale, and Clayboys shaved ice will be available for purchase onsite. PLEASE clean up after your family before you leave. 

What else do I need to bring? 

Bring chairs or a blanket to sit on, and additional layers to stay warm later in the evening when the sun goes down.
