Spring Fling

Join us for Spring Fling on Saturday, May 31st! 

Big news: This year, Spring Fling will be operating on a "Pay What You Can" model.

It's been a challenging few months for many in our community. With that in mind, for this year only we will not be charging a set price for entry. We want to eliminate any barriers for students to join in the fun of the year's biggest event. So all families can enter and pay the amount that they can.

It still does cost the PTA money to run Spring Fling. So if you're able, please consider a suggested donation of $15 per student to help us offset the cost. You can also pay whatever amount works for your family. Your Spring Fling donation can be made at this link or on site at Spring Fling.

Spring Fling 2025 General Information

Where: Ashburton Elementary School

When: Saturday, May 31st, 4:00 - 7:00 pm

What: An Ashburton community favorite featuring two giant obstacle courses, bounce houses & slides, carnival games & prizes, skee ball, a gaga pit, bungee run, food & snacks, and more!

Silent Auction

The Spring Fling Silent Auction is now live! Visit the silent auction website here to bid on a variety of great items, including a trike with multi-colored lights, gift cards for health & wellness, sports & game vouchers, handmade Ashburton-themed quilts, and more! All funds will go to support our Ashburton community!

Food at Spring Fling

Popcorn and cotton candy will be available for sale. $1 for 1 serving. Water will be available as well. 

There will also be three food trucks on site: Two Smooth Dudes, Masala Grill, and Clayboys!

Baskets and Teacher Features

Each year, classrooms sponsor special themed baskets (like "Day At The Beach," "Mad Science," and "Squishmallow"). And teachers get creative with unique "Teacher Features" as special experiences & treats for students. Check out this year's themes for our classroom-sponsored baskets here!

The baskets & teacher feature descriptions will be on display in the All Purpose Room during Spring Fling on May 31st.

Raffle tickets will be available for purchase on May 31st at Spring Fling! They can be bought for $1 each or 12 for $10.

Can you give an hour or two of your time on the day of Spring Fling, Saturday, May 31st to help us put on a fun event for our students? It would greatly be appreciated! Sign up here to volunteer! We need your help in these areas:

• Set up
• Supervising games (along with our school-age volunteers)
• Selling raffle & concessions tickets
• New! Handing out carnival prizes to students
• Clean up after the event
